At Club 5, every child’s emotional wellbeing is just as important as their academic growth. Our learning environment is built around the five core pillars of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)—Self-Awareness, Self-Regulation, Social Awareness, Relationship Skills, and Responsible Decision-Making.

These competencies are intentionally woven into everyday experiences through thoughtfully designed spaces and meaningful interactions that help children understand themselves, connect with others, and navigate the world with confidence.

Self-Awareness

Children learn to recognize and understand their emotions, strengths, and identity. Through reflection activities, emotion charts, feelings cards, and guided conversations, they build the language and confidence to express how they feel.

Self-Regulation

We provide safe, calming spaces where children can manage big emotions and regain balance. With breathing techniques, sensory tools, and cozy seating, children develop healthy strategies to self-regulate and build resilience.

Social Awareness

By encouraging empathy, gratitude, and appreciation, children learn to value different perspectives and care for those around them. Activities such as gratitude walls and daily reflection moments foster kindness, inclusion, and respect.

Relationship Skills

Our guided conflict-resolution practices help children communicate effectively, listen actively, collaborate with peers, and solve disagreements peacefully. Teachers support children in developing lifelong skills for healthy relationships and teamwork.

Responsible Decision-Making

Children are encouraged to think critically, make thoughtful choices, solve problems creatively, and take responsibility for their actions. Through everyday experiences, they develop confidence in making decisions that positively impact themselves and others.

Purposefully Designed SEL Spaces

To bring these pillars to life, Club 5 incorporates dedicated wellbeing spaces throughout the learning environment:

  • Calm & Regulation Corner:

A nurturing space with breathing tools, soft seating, and sensory materials where children can reset and return to learning when feeling overwhelmed.

  • Peace & Problem-Solving Area:

A guided conflict-resolution space where children practice communication, active listening, empathy, and collaborative problem-solving with teacher support.

  • Reflection Zone:

Equipped with emotion charts, feelings cards, and prompts that encourage children to identify, understand, and express their emotions.

  • Gratitude & Positivity Corner:

A welcoming area featuring gratitude walls and appreciation activities that cultivate optimism, mindfulness, and a positive outlook.

At Club 5, we don’t simply teach children what to learn—we help them discover who they are, how to care for others, and how to thrive as confident, compassionate, and capable individuals
